I've just installed Google Analytics to track the traffic on this blog, and the general one I will be setting up. Why did I choose that specific software? It was free, it is a sister software to blogspot (aka Google owns it), and since I do not know much about blogging I thought why not try it.
Later on I can talk with Steve Cousins and Kelly Adams to see if there are better host options for the blog and analytics. Right now they are free and easy to set up with little management on my part. In 24 hours I can check to see what data is being tracked and what reports I can get out of the software. Then I will decide whether to keep it or spend more time researching tracking programs.
